Why I created this website

I decided to create this site to help those individuals who are not meeting/event planners but are asked to step into that role as part of their job. I have been there – check out my About Me page. As someone who has been in that position, I noticed a lot of materials aimed at meeting/event planners assumed a basic knowledge level I didn’t have. This website provides some of the basics I wish I had known.

This is NOT a site for seasoned meeting professionals; there is already an abundance of those. This website is a place where I plan to address some fundamental questions you may have after your boss tasks you with planning a meeting/event, and you are unsure where to start. If you want to dive deeper after planning a few meetings, I will point you to resources to help you along.
